    Hi John, Thank you for your story about your persistence and finally, your trip to the White House. I need to hear that persistence can lead to success, while maybe not immediately, but down the road. The fact that you actually made 106 phone calls in one day makes for good therapy to know that you are not alone.
    Persistence is one of my downfalls and I need to practice keeping my chin up and consistently moving forward. I am looking for a job as a graphic designer and while the summer may be the slowest summer in decades, I am pursuing online courses one half of the day and answering online ads the other half of the day. Who knows, I may create an award winning portfolio piece or I may be headed towards something life altering, even though it feels like I am being stripped of my identity at the moment.
